A little bit about us

 

It all began with Mamma Goose...

 

Marrying young at 22, she began her first years of married life restoring vintage furniture purchased at local auction rooms dotted around the New Forest in Hampshire, England.

She loved restoring found treasures to their former glory whilst bringing up her three little goslings (children!).  The families' childhood memories are of endless piles of wonky furniture drying around the Aga & the evocative aroma of beeswax drifting through the home. 

 

Over the years, the family made many visits overseas to the colourful markets of Bruges, Amsterdam & most often to the enticing Markets of France, sourcing quirky vintage pieces.

Sadly, these days such vintage treasures are now becoming very expensive and much harder to find.

 

It was whilst discussing their many adventures & favourite pieces over dinner one night whilst sharing a bottle of wine, that White Goose Collections was created.  The family decided to try and recreate their favourite old vintage advertising boxes and crates, using their own designs, replicating some of their treasures but adding a modern twist.
